Bomb Farm Gear and Ritual Guide: Drops, Stars and Upgrades
Use Bomb Farm Ritual efficiently: reveal sealed drops, compare attributes, forge equipment from +0 to +15, fuse duplicates, and protect useful materials.
Equipment is one of Bomb Farm’s main power sources. The official Steam page describes a loop of revealing sealed drops, upgrading pieces from +0 to +15, collecting stars by fusing duplicates, and chasing useful attributes. Ritual is where those decisions meet.
Reveal first, upgrade second
Do not assign value to a sealed drop before it is revealed. After revealing, compare the item with what the active hero already wears. Rarity is a broad quality signal, but the useful question is whether the attributes support the hero’s role and the current job.
For an Attacker used on gates, prioritize effects that improve reliable damage. A farming hero may value resource-oriented attributes once the stage already clears. Support and Specialist pieces depend on the live ability text; avoid forcing every item into the same damage template.
A practical keep, fuse, or sell test
Run every piece through three questions:
- Equip: does it immediately improve a hero in the working rotation?
- Fuse: is it a duplicate that advances a chosen long-term item without consuming a useful alternative?
- Sell: is it eligible, unneeded, and more valuable as Steam balance than as account power?
If none is clearly true, keep the piece until the next progression test. Early accounts often sell or fuse too aggressively because the second and third teams are not built yet.
Upgrade the team you actually use
Spread upgrades only after one stable farm team and one credible push team exist. A high enhancement on a benched hero does not help the Map. Start with equipment already serving a dependable role, then test whether the upgrade changes clear time or gate performance.
Bomb Farm supports +0 through +15. Higher numbers are not automatically the best early target. Material cost, failure risk shown by the current interface, replacement probability, and the item’s long-term fit all matter. Use the Bomb Farm Forge guide for the risk checklist.
Stars and duplicate fusion
Steam says duplicate fusion collects stars. Before confirming, inspect which copy will remain, what attributes carry forward, which materials are consumed, and whether the result is tradable. The August 31 patch changed Soulbound inheritance for fusion results, but other Market requirements still apply. Check the Soulbound trading rules before assigning sale value.
Do not confuse equipment fusion with Star Ritual for heroes. They may share the Ritual space, but the input, output, and binding behavior are not identical.
Ritual budget versus the skill tree
Gear is targeted: it improves the hero wearing it. The Bomb Farm skill tree is account-wide. Favor gear when one active hero has a clear weak slot and the next improvement is dependable. Favor the tree when the same limitation affects several teams or an unlock changes the whole account.
| Situation | Better first check |
|---|---|
| One Attacker is failing the timer | Equipped damage gear |
| All teams share an account limitation | Skill-tree branch |
| Rotation stops because heroes are empty | House and Energy |
| Clear is stable but income is low | Collector ability and economy nodes |
| Valuable drop is not tradable | Soulbound source and fusion rules |
Ritual safety checklist
- Verify the selected item or hero before confirming.
- Compare the result preview with the material list.
- Keep at least one working set for the next team rotation.
- Recheck Soulbound status after fusion.
- Do not upgrade an item only because it has the highest rarity frame.
- Record expensive +15 attempts and major fusions with screenshots.
