Game overview

A desktop idle RPG where planning matters more than clicking.

Bomb Farm is a free-to-play single-player idle RPG from Stream On. Squads break rocks automatically, gather gold and sealed drops, then recover in the House. Progress comes from diagnosing the bottleneck behind the next Map clear and choosing the right hero, gear, skill-tree, or recovery upgrade. Treat each failed clear as evidence: note whether the account lacks damage, uptime, or material efficiency, then change one system and test the same stage again.

Start with the Bomb Farm Beginner Guide

How the main systems fit together

Bomb Farm divides the account into tabs, but strong progression comes from treating them as one connected plan.

Battle

Decide whether the session is farming or pushing

A farming session needs repeatable clears, sustainable Energy use, and enough economy value to improve the account over several hours. A push session needs full Energy, the strongest combat mix, and equipment aimed at one checkpoint. Keep both compositions. Farm the highest reliable stage, then switch deliberately for one clean timer attempt and measure the gap before spending more resources.

Heroes

Judge the job before the frame or letter

Role, rarity, ability, Birth Rank, and Energy answer different questions. Birth Rank grades the natural roll inside one rarity and never changes, but it does not erase rarity differences. Compare heroes for the same intended slot, inspect their actual attributes, and preserve enough role coverage for the next two teams before consuming duplicates. A useful rotation matters more than a row of impressive cards.

House

Treat recovery as production infrastructure

Three switchable teams only help when recovery, roster depth, and timing overlap. Rotate before every active hero is empty: one team works, one stays ready, and one recovers. Keep XP sharing on for broad development, and disable it only for a planned carry threshold. If uptime remains poor, test clear speed before buying recovery because faster grids can reduce Energy pressure.

Build the rotation
Ritual

Upgrade proven equipment, not exciting inventory

The right piece is the one that improves a hero you actually field. Reveal first, compare second, and upgrade third. Before fusing, check which copy remains and whether a material still solves a role or equipment gap. Build a dependable +8 foundation, test it in Battle, and reserve expensive +9 to +15 attempts for pieces that are unlikely to be replaced soon.

Market

Separate power, binding, and price

Steam trading adds a price to eligible finds, but a useful item can be worth more equipped than listed. Soulbound status, rarity, and Market access are separate checks. Standard selling unlocks after Easy 5-10, while eligible Steam purchases may be brought into the game earlier. Start with a replaceable item, verify its card, and wait for synchronization before repeating any transfer.

Bomb Farm FAQ: Heroes, Gear, Market and Progression

Get direct answers about Bomb Farm heroes, Birth Rank, XP sharing, energy, gear upgrades, timed gates, worlds, and Steam Market access.

Yes. Bomb Farm is a free-to-play idle strategy RPG on Steam with optional purchases and Steam Community Market support.
Standard selling unlocks after Easy stage 5-10. An active VIP Pass can grant earlier selling access, while eligible Steam purchases may be imported separately.
Yes. Birth Rank measures natural attributes inside a hero's rarity range and does not change through levels, stars, equipment, Forge upgrades, or allocated points.
XP sharing is enabled by default and divides XP from destroyed blocks among heroes in Battle. When disabled, the hero that destroys the block receives all XP; changing the setting has a 60-second cooldown.
The official Steam page lists five worlds, five difficulties, and 600 stages designed for long-term idle progression.
New item and hero fusion results no longer inherit the Soulbound status of their five materials, but rarity and Market-access requirements still apply. Soulbound cage heroes remain bound.
