Lapidary Eye gives its Bomb Farm carrier a chance to improve the category of a drop produced by an object that hero breaks.
Lapidary Eye is a self-scoped drop ability. When the carrier breaks the relevant object, the result can move up one category: item chests gain a level, while keys, gems, time chests, and stone chests improve within their own systems.
How this entity works
The carrier must break the object
Lapidary Eye is tied to the hero producing the drop. A high level on a hero that rarely reaches or breaks the relevant objects can contribute less than a lower level on a consistent Collector.
Different drops improve differently
The effect does not turn every result into the same reward. Item chests gain a level, while keys and other chest categories improve according to their own hierarchy. Read the resulting item rather than assuming one universal upgrade path.
Use it on a stable farming floor
Drop quality matters only if the squad keeps clearing. Farm a stage that remains reliable with the ability equipped, then compare the quality of a meaningful sample instead of judging the result from one lucky or unlucky drop.
